How to Apply

We don’t have an application form or pack.  This website offers an explanation of what it is that we are looking to achieve and what our Trustees are focusing on.

If you are in doubt about whether or not you “fit” our criteria, then you can email us with a short introduction to your work and the initiative for which you were thinking of applying.  We suggest this is done before writing a full application, if you are unsure of the suitability of your work to the interests of  this trust.

Written applications can be in any format, but should aim to briefly answer the following questions in not more than 3 pages:

  • WHAT it is you want to do – explain the idea/work and its value.  Are you looking to start a new initiative or is it a step change that you are looking to make?
  • WHY it should be done – present evidence of the need for it and why it is innovative/better than what is currently offered?
  • WHERE do you want to work and how will this impact on the people/communities you will work with?
  • HOW MANY people are expected to benefit and who are they?
  • HOW do you plan to deliver the change that you are seeking to make?
  • HOW MUCH will it cost and over what time frame are you looking for funding?  (please include both the human and financial input you are looking for).  As part of this please explain how you will sustain the work beyond the support requested.
  • WHO are the key individuals that will lead the initiative?  What experience do you, your organisation and its Trustees/Board have which will give us confidence that you will be able to undertake the proposed work?
