How to Apply
There is no application form or pack for CIT – this website contains the full range of information you need to know and understand in order to make an application.

Before you apply, please ask yourself if your work/idea is really different, unusual, not happening elsewhere and which addresses a real need, preferably as expressed by the people who are expected to benefit from the work?
If you are in doubt about whether or not you “fit” our criteria, then you can email us with a short introduction to your work and the initiative for which you were thinking of applying. We suggest this is done before writing a full application, if you are unsure of the suitability of your work to the interests of this trust.
When you are ready to make an application please ensure you have included answers to the following quetions. Please try and be as succinct as possible and preferably keep within 4 sides:
Who you are?
What are you intending to do? Your idea and why you think it is different.
How you know that it is needed?
How much will it cost, including an outline budget for how the funding will be spent (how will you get the rest of the money if the CIT application doesn’t cover all costs?).
Tell us if this work is new, or an extension/continuation of existing work.
Tell us of your personal/group success before – what have you achieved?
Finally – and very importantly – tell us how we can contact you (email, phone, physcial address).
