Our Funding Criteria
Most people visit this site to see whether they can get funding for the work that they do. Hopefully this page will clearly tell you what we will and won’t consider funding.
We very much want to support good projects. We are looking for projects doing the unusual or trying something new and wanting to make a difference either to promote and share the Christian faith and/or to support vulnerable people within their communities, as a demonstration of that faith. We support all sorts of christian organisations and aim to be ecumenical, interdenominational or non-demoninational. We do not come from any one tradition or theological stance.
But, please don’t spend time and resources on applying to us if your work does not fit with the criteria below. It really won’t be funded and you’ll be wasting your own and our limited resources.
WHAT WE CAN FUND
- Individual Christians and/or Christian organisations with unusual or new initiatives that
- Support projects where our grants (average size £3-£5k) will make a significant difference to enabling something to happen.
- Support individual Christians or organisations that do not yet have a track record of fundraising for similar work.
- International work/Christian organisation where the application is made through a UK partner (all the above criteria still apply in these cases).
a) promote and share the Christian faith.
b) support vulnerable people within communities as an expression of Christian love.
